3OB Science 'Material World'

Year Three have begun our science programme this term called "Material World'.

We have begun with an experiment called 'Rot or Remain', where we buried different materials in 2cms of soil and will monitor what is happening to the materials by looking under the container.
The next experiment is called 'Leak, Soak or Repel'. We are planning a fair test by changing the materials we use, this is the only variable. We are measuring the amount of drops used and keeping everything else the same such as the thickness of materials, the number of drops and the type of liquid.
We are recording the results in our Science journal.
